gossip(saying bad things to cause harm) vs venting(saying bad things to let off steam aka confinding)

wat is gossip...gossip is saying bad thigs abt pple with the intention of hurting someone.....qouted from a very wise woman who upon much disscussion with her wise friends came up wif that defination.....just saying bad things abt others is not called gossip cause there is no bad intention connected to it....to me its called venting and confinding not gossip....w/o venting,i think pple wld have gone crazy a long times ago...

so when u hear or think that pple said bad things abt u...mayb its just to vent and not to cause harm....and maybe when u dont THINK that person is gossiping abt u and start saying bad thigs abt that person....thats gossip...cause u THINK that person hurt u/betrayed u and so its humand nature to get revenge and cause harm to that persons reputation and maybe destroy some friendships in the process...oh ya one more point wat u think is not wat usually happens...

so remeber the defination of gossip the next time u think someone is talking bad abt u....they might actually be unhappy abt something and have no intention to casue any harm....and u might end up being the hypocrite where u r the one gossiping...

oh and mayb when pple are talking bad abt u maybe u sld take this oppprtunity to find out y and change for the better as another wise woman once said "good friends are meant to stick with u no matter what and they'll help to change u for the better,they are afraid they'll hurt u if they say things out too straight... when they talk rot about u, think of it as they are trying to help u pinpoint your mistakes..instead of being pissed off, think through what they've said, maybe they are right about some tiny tweeny lousy characteristics about you. if they are right, just try to see how you can go about changing it.. and the best part is.. when ppl gossip or talk bad about you, u can just go up to them and say thank you for helping you to find out what's wrong with you and to help you become a super likable person.."

so i guess i sld thank the pple who are sprouting rot and who are gossiping abt me cause when i find out wat they r saying i can change myself for the better and become a better person....but i wld be nic ot have ur friends support while u are doing it...sigh....
